Regret and anger at yourself
Haunting you in your sleep
Your heart is pounding
And anxiety is filling your ears

You look up and pray
That you could have the chance
To travel through time
And erase your mistakes

You feel like a character
Who has performed a terrible crime

You keep hearing the same voices
Over and over again
As if a broken record
Were playing in your head

The panicking is driving you up the wall
Like a thief escaping from jail

Lives somewhere, where nobody knows
But everyone is aware they must hide
For it seems to appear out of nowhere
Like a distant cloud, high up in the sky

He creeps up on you
And becomes a horror to your dreams
Causing a painful sensation
All throughout your skin and bones
