An angel’s cry is a devil’s laugh
and a stormy Sunday is a steamy bath
Nature’s gentleness is much at war
with its occasional, brutal wrath

A bird’s song is quite a delight
and a scarlet sky is humbly a sight
Windy weather makes a drifting feather
all under the sun’s eternal light

Harmonious creatures form a lovable land
where unity is dealt by a virtuous hand
Cherry trees paint a brilliant collage
supplying the world’s majestic demand
