What Happened?
Illegal Kidnapping in Sheikhupura:
On January 22, 2025, at 3:00 AM, over 30-50 armed personnel, including members of the Lahore CIA and elite forces, illegally raided our home in Sheikhupura without any legal authorization.
Violation of Cross-City Arrest Protocol:
According to Pakistani laws, law enforcement must notify the nearest police station in writing before carrying out an arrest or raid in another jurisdiction. This mandatory legal requirement was blatantly ignored.
Stolen Property:
They not only kidnapped my father but also confiscated his new motorcycle, adding theft to their list of unlawful acts.
Torture in Custody:
My father was held from 3:00 AM to 10:00 PM, subjected to inhumane torture, including electric shocks and being stripped of his clothes.
What Pakistani Law States:
Illegal Detention & Raid Without Warrant:
Article 10 of the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees protection against illegal detention.
Conducting a raid or arrest without notifying the nearest police station in another city violates established laws and procedures.
Theft by Law Enforcement:
Confiscating property without legal documentation is a violation of Section 378 PPC, which defines theft as a punishable offense.
Torture is Prohibited:
Article 14(2) of the Constitution forbids torture and degrading treatment.
Public officials involved in torture are liable under Section 337-K PPC and international laws like the United Nations Convention Against Torture (UNCAT).
Abuse of Power:
Misusing authority for personal agendas is punishable under Section 166 PPC.
Why This Matters:
This incident is a glaring example of how individuals in positions of power misuse their influence to violate laws and suppress voices. If these actions go unchallenged, they set a dangerous precedent for the future.
