The Year Around

The agricultural landscapes are designed by farming practices. From one season to another crops are grown according to the farm management strategy. This short video gives a glimpse of the visual variations in a cultivated field. Soil is prepared for crops such as winter cereals, maize and rapeseed that are sown and harvested under variable weather conditions (and recurrent snow!).

All the photos have been taken from the same location, in Wunsiedel im Fichtelgebirge, Bavaria (Germany) in a period spanning from February 14, 2005 to November 18, 2008.
