Across the city, residents keep their eyes glued to the live television coverage of the spectacular event. If the Academy Awards were moved to the heartland, this is what it would resemble.

The candid and remarkable stories of three teenagers from completely different backgrounds chronicle the emotionally charged days and nights leading up to their unbelievable prom night, while providing insight to a pivotal time in a teenager’s life as they inch closer to adulthood and face making decisions that will effect the rest of their lives.
