The Teddy Bear & Me

This is animated/live action music video tells the story of a mother longing for the love of her daughter. The teddy Bear is a reminder of joy they used to share.
The video features my animations and the intro with me playing the Wurlitzer, was filmed at the beautiful Akron Civic Theater. Truly my masterpiece!
Many have asked me what the funny little cartoon characters are doing in an "otherwise" sad video. It is true, it is a sad song adapted from a poem my good friend Irene (Redheadgingerbread) wrote about the absents of a little girl who's Teddy Bear is a reminder of the love she has.

I was so moved by the poem, I decided to put it to music and then to video.
It is truly one of the most touching and moving songs I ever worked on.

The cartoon characters represent the people in the song...
Miss Mousie, the little mouse represents the mother.

The little red haired girl "Teddy girl" represents the child.

Mr Frog, The frog represents me, the producer of the song and video,who wants to bring comfort and friendship.

The characters shed a little light on a sad situation. I originally created the frog as comment to post to my MySpace friends. He is a symbol of hope and friendship as well as a great entertainer.
