Description

Queen Ana is the love of my life and you know this. If you’re a man and you’ve loved a woman you understand. You women know this love too. For me and for you it’s true. Ana helped me understand me, patience and acceptance. We identify with love. We identify with our Afrikan ancestry, but were raised as “black” people here in America. So we identify what we have as “black love.”

Enslaved people of Afrikan descent could not marry and could legally be sold and separated. We’re so glad we made it. As a people. So Ana and I can express some of our love through marriage.

I’m learning that I’m enough and my thoughts are valuable. Just as good as any others. We are all worthy of praise and validation. This is love. Not all of love. Just part of love. We may never know all of love due to the blocks we construct. And the clay we wear.

Some of us have managed to break off some of the clay. Streaks of goodness shine through. Just enough to notice we’re not dull pieces of clay.

Ana showed me I wasn’t dull. That I am desirable and deserving of love. You see I believed I was covered in clay although I’d busted off a significant amount of it. But my consciousness was colonized. I still saw the clay through our oppressors eyes. Queen Ana’s black love realized. My value as a man. A shining brightly human person!

I call this piece the Queen & I just ‘cuz it’s accurate. She is the Queen, and I am blessed. We are an unstoppable force creating reality with every breath in every moment.

We are free to do what we want to do. Free to love who we want to love. Free to read and inform ourselves. Free to create our own miracles. We are free human beings. Free to grow, expand and express. Our capabilities are vast beyond what seems real or even possible.

That’s why I write like this. Writing what comes to mind is liberating. I am liberated. Practicing liberation is key. How not to be trapped is key. Trapped in someone else’s perspective always feeling like you have to do something a certain way because everyone else does it that way.

I’m all for training and education, I simply believe we must learn to be ourselves. Learn to acquire knowledge and skills all while keeping our personality intact.

I’m a married guy of almost nine years and I’ve kept my personality intact. My Queen has no desire to remake me, nor I her. We’re just expanding, expressing and liberating. I am thankful.

This is good black love.
