If you could classify a blues band as a landmark then The Nighthawks would be truly an institutional Washington D.C. heritage; here they revive an American classic The Andy Griffith Show Theme (Earle Hagen and Herbert Spencer). This features Mark Wenner (harmonica) Johnny Castle (bass) Paul Bell (guitar) Pete Ragusa (drums); Pete has since departed the Hawks. “Fishin’ Hole Theme” is from the Nighthawks, Powerhouse award winning album “American Landscape”.
