The Legend Continues

"MIchael Jackson: The Legend Continues" was a 1988 television special that aired on Showtime in April 1988 as part of the "Motown on Showtime" series.

The special, produced by Suzanne DePasse with Burl Hechtman serving as a supervising producer as well as Michael Jackson himself as executive producer, was widely praised and won a Cable Ace Award for Outstanding Editing in a Musical Special. It's 1989 home video release in the USA was #1 on the Billboard Top Video Chart for six weeks and 2 weeks at #1 on the Top Music Video Chart, where it pushed MJ's other home video, Moonwalker (released that past January) out of the top spot
