The Godfather ( Trailer )

The story in the film The Godfather centers on the conflict that befell the mafia family, Corleone. Narrated Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) is the leader of the most influential mafia group nicknamed The Godfather. The Godfather successfully runs his dark business in prostitution, drugs, gambling and others.

In carrying out his daily life, The Godfather runs a business by meeting guests in turns. These guests come to ask for help, offer cooperation or use the services of the business they run. One day during his son's wedding, apart from receiving guests, The Godfather also continued to serve requests from his clients.

One of the clients who came was Sollozo (Al Littieri), a drug dealer from the Tattaglia family who offered to cooperate. Unfortunately, this offer of cooperation was rejected by The Godfather and made Sollozo furious. Hurt, Sollozo then ordered his men to shoot The Godfather. The Godfather was hit by a bullet in the chest but his life was saved.
During his recovery, The Godfather practically could no longer exercise his leadership. His first child Sonny (James Caan) then succeeds his father, but under his leadership the family business is on the verge of collapse. His second son, Michael (Al Pacino) then gave a suggestion to kill Sollozo and the plan was successful.
But because of this deed, Michael became the target of assassination and had to flee temporarily to Italy. The conflict is heating up, the war between the Corleone and Tattaglia mafia families is inevitable. Can The Godfather get back up to save his business and his children?
