THE COTTAGE - FINAL TRAILER

LBV Productions presents the first of three horror films in the iconic "JOIN THE EVIL" saga, titled "THE COTTAGE", produced, written and directed by Davide Santandrea ("Horror in the Wood", "Memories of a Zombie", "Join the Dead", "Fear of a Book", "Blood Sunset", "The Man Who Didn't Survive the Virus", "The Shadow of the Diary", "Don't Make Grandma Angry!", "Beyond the Unknown").

"Join The Evil – The Cottage", simply titled "THE COTTAGE" in Italy, tells the intricate story of an archaeologist, Professor Pedro Caranza (Davide Bella), and his discovery of Sumerian tablets written by the ancient cult of Kutu dedicated to the worship of Azathoth, in the caves beneath the temple of Kut -Al-Amara in southern Iraq. His sons Eric (Alessandro Corzani) and Vincent (Mauro Casadei) battle to survive against the forces of evil awakened by the reading of a formula written on the tablets and in the book of Kutu written by their father, as they try to reunite with him in a cottage near the forest. With the awakening of the demon Azathoth, the book becomes cursed and claims victims among those who foolishly read it.

"Join The Evil - Il Cottage" is executive produced by the series creator, Davide Santandrea, who came up with the comedic character "Vincent Ascia" played by Mauro Casadei. The film is part horror/slasher and part comedy/slapstick, and for its creation, the director drew inspiration from the tales and myths of Howard Phillips Lovecraft, the 1981 film "Evil Dead" by Sam Raimi, and the comedies of Laurel and Hardy, the Three Stooges, and Jerry Lewis. The film's soundtrack is partially composed by Omar Nedjari and partially by the music group "Stones Circle." A production of LBV Productions.
