India has in recent times, witnessed a spate of incidents that calls to question its secular nature. Acts of intolerance towards books, films, faiths, people of alternate sexual orientations, paintings, art installations, individuals, institutions and eating habits, have become an everyday occurrence. This narrative portrays the intolerance towards one such group - books, authors and publishers, and what that portends for our progeny.
