The Alicante Giants Parade

The festivities included a parade with the “Big Heads and Giants” of Alicante as well as women in folk costumes dancing with castanets. The parade moved in a circle around the official Hoguera of the festival while the Bellesas del Foc (beauties of the fire) and ordinary people watched.The giants were maneuvered by people inside the long dresses.
