Tan Pratonix - Sombre Mood

Inky blackness shrouds the sky
The world is painted gray
And in the night
The moon a scythe
Cleaves ripples in the bay.

The stars pin-pricks of pointed spears
Poised for flight in purple space
Enhance the darkness
Of the night
And pierce the stones upon the graves.

Darkness all around is death
And death is darkness everywhere;
Loneliness
Pervades the gloom
And hostile is the murky air.
