SVE...Che vita!

Nani, Julie, Mercedes & Eva tell you all about EVS in Varese (Italy). The four of us shared a small house in the North of Italy, even though we were all involved in different EVS projects: a support centre for volunteering (Cesvov-Eva), a day care centre for disabled people (La Finestra-Nani), an elderly day care centre (SOS Malnate SMS-Mercedes) and a Blood Donation Volunteering Centre (AVIS Varese – Julie). Not only did each one of us have a different EVS project, we also had different backgrounds, experiences, motivations… and still we were all involved in the same European programme: EVS. That’s why the idea came up to share the different story of our individual projects as that would maybe help explain the entire EVS experience to young people who aspire to be an EVS volunteer.

Sometimes the images, positive vibes, passion and the enthusiasm expressed in a video can persuade you to take action. At least, that was the conviction and idea behind the video we created (together with Elena Cazzulo, an awesome professional video maker). Our intention was to explain to other people what EVS is and how to tackle the application process, but most of all, to share our own positive EVS energy with the rest of the world!
