Susan Blond began her career as a painter with a one-woman show at Harvard University and an invitation to be a part of the Whitney Museum's acclaimed Independent Study Program, which through the years has helped foster the careers of many influential artists, including her classmate, Julian Schnabel. Susan immersed herself in the New York art world and quickly found herself a part of Andy Warhol's inner circle, spending her time at the Factory and acting in Warhol and Paul Morrissey movies. Susan teamed up with fellow Warhol personalities Tinkerbelle and the poet, Taylor Mead to star in Anton Perich's controversial public access shows, which were the first underground shows on television and helped pave the way for the legendary Manhattan cable programs that would follow. Susan's dynamic personality landed her a job at Warhol's Interview Magazine, which she parlayed in to a job at United Artists, where she represented Blacksploitation soundtracks and later to Epic Records, where she became the first female Vice President and helped guide the careers of The Clash and Michael Jackson during they were in their prime. After 13 years at Epic, Susan left to form her own PR company, Blonde Inc., which she still runs as president and CEO up to this day. Blond's impressive roster has included Prince, The Grateful Dead, Morrissey, The Beach Boys, Joan Jett, Iggy Pop, Ice Cube, Sean "Puffy" Combs, and just about every other superstar on the planet.
