The great battle between Super Sonic vs Sonic the Werehog takes place in Grand Theft Auto IV

Super Sonic is the Super State of Sonic the Hedgehog, achieved by harnessing the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds. Since Super Sonic's first appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, this form has been Sonic's most commonly used transformation.

Sonic the Werehog is Sonic the Hedgehog's bestial werewolf-like form in Sonic Unleashed. This form was created when Sonic accidentally absorbed a large dose of Dark Gaia's energy, although the transformation itself would only be triggered by nighttime and remain active until daytime. Due to this form's unique traits, Sonic the Werehog is arguably a hedgehog/Gaia Gaia's Minion hybrid. Sonic lost this form permanently when Dark Gaia reclaimed the energy that caused the transformation.
