super smart 4 month old puppy escape

So I came home one afternoon , while walking up my driveway I thought I had been robbed. My front door was wide open and the house was trashed . I could hear our puppy Ash barking from a distance but he was no longer in his crate nor did he come greet me . I assumed that the robbers had locked him in a room . but after I checked the house ( with back up ) I realized that nothing was missing , and that Ash had some how unlocked his cage , front door and bedroom doors while looking for me before getting stuck under my bed ( grew since he tried that last ) so after he continuous escaped his crate after to seconds I had to spy on him to see how .....
