SUJATA VARMA - The beginning

Sunday was beautiful
In anticipation
For you were to come on monday
Breathless suspense
Will you or won't you?

Monday was also beautiful
For i looked forward to meeting you again
But as the day passed into night
And you did not come
It was a lonely monday
Even a sad one!

Tuesday i still hoped
And it made my day
When i returned home to find you
waiting for me!

Wednesday was a happy day
Memories of your visit yesterday
lingering on in my mind.

Thursday again was beautiful
your voice ringing in my ears
with the words of love!
Friday was a real pleasure
for we were to meet again on saturday
Just thinking of it was joy enough!

Saturday was OUR day
And each second we spent together was precious
The whole week flew so quickly
on happy wings
Sunday will again be wonderful
and so will monday
Each day will bring merry sunshine
Now that i have met you
Each day will be precoius to me
Because i love you!
