Happy days are here again
It's summer time once again
No work and all play
It's enough to make the children gay!

Cards and carrom from morn to noon
Chess and even marble and spoon
Books to read - when you can get one
Though magazines also are second to none!

Solitary walks when night sets in
Or gay parties full of din
Visits to friends and relatives -
When with your high spirits you brighten their lives!

Physics and Chemistry temporarily forgotton
And even the exams that you may have done quite rotten
These are the days of fun and cheer
When placid life goes out of gear!
