Storm on Malta

Malta 2016 - I was on Malta for freediving, but some of the days it simply stormed too much for us to dive... The weather was much worst than it looks on the video and the waves were some of the largest waves I have seen in my life.

A couple of days after, the storm had passed and we could once more freedive. Malta is great for freediving as you have so many different dive locations and you can easily find over 50 meters which is often required when you train freediving. Malta also has some awesome shipwrecks and they even have a submarine. However, it lies on around 60 meters, so it is not a dive site for beginners.

Another great thing about Malta is the food and culture. There are so many different things you can do, when the weather is poor.
