Some of the most widely prescribed antidepressants, including Zoloft, Paxil, Prozac, Lexapro and Celexa, have been found to increase the risk for birth defects when taken during pregnancy. By now, it should be no secret that these and other SSRI antidepressants can result in birth defects.
