Spiros Mar - Flawed

Anguished morning comes again
As my heart pounds the same old sad beat
Flawed; the sun can no longer give me warmth
For I even shiver in my sleep
Still, I feel the blaze of the fire
This cruel reality I feed it with my dreams

Yet when you look at me, you only see me smile
Not betraying the sorrow in my soul
Sealing my lips, preventing blood from pouring down
Ripping my tongue off, not to scream a proof of desperation

When I taste the bitterness of this life
I plea for more and laugh
Crying my way to death
And I’m standing in the darkness
Contemplating how life can be so steep
Why never there was a guiding light
Only cold-blooded hands that cut so deep
Still, I see the blaze of the fire
This cruel reality I feed it with my dreams
And when there’s nothing left
I’ll take the ashes and coat my face
Moaning the loss of me
