Former Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram signals that he never intended to end the Special Permission process for the importation of pharmaceuticals, only to streamline it.

That's contrary to statements made at a prior Public Administration and Appropriations Committee by other health officials.

As the former CMO came under the microscope, evidence pointed to major gaps in proving that Dr. Parasram had ever made such a remark.
