SoundGraphy is visually inspired by an ancient Iranian theatrical form called Ta'zieh which is indeed a storytelling form mainly focused on the religious stories from early years of Islam. No any women is allowed to take part in the process of performing Ta'zieh.
Produced by ORIANTHEATRE Dance Company with the support of Birmingham Dance Network in frame of Birmingham International Dance festival (UK).
Performed at Vivid projects (UK) on the 10 June 2018 and at Theatre de l'Oulle (Avignon, France) on the 16 Jan 2019.
