One moment here and nearby
Next moment at far off places
Without intent mind roams around

At the start of a task thinking of control
Concentration is the word we opt to enroll
In between away slips the mind without a goal
Leaving us lost in thoughts with pending jobs on a roll

Really a fish in water is our mind
Wanders at its will casting a spell
Difficult to catch and keep it in hold
Wriggles and gets away from the fold

Mindless mind makes us blind
Lucky are those out of its grind
