Olivia, at age 24, born and raised over the hot manual labors of being a blacksmith, she learns her cruel father has arranged a marriage between her and a local villager twice her age. Dreading what is to happen, she is praying for a Christmas miracle to save her from such a fate. One day while sweating over the fire pits, a stranger walks into her blacksmith shop and changes everything.

He just happened to be out riding his horse Flurry when he unexpectedly threw a shoe. When he had to venture to the only village within miles of his home, Snowline castle, he came across a female, who instantly triggered a possessive control over him. Although her temperament toward him was anything but kind, he could not keep his eyes off of her. Strange cravings to have her overpowered him. In a hurry to get back to the castle from being out in the daylight too long, he left his horse with the female blacksmith.
