Description
Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Wage Garnishments...? - I recently got a letter from my employer that my wages were about to start garnishing my wages. However, the date of the judgement was entered in 2004. I never got any letters notifying me of anything. Most likely because I moved out of state. No money has been taken out yet. The original debt was only for about $1500. Im now being charged close to $8000. Probably because of all the interests. I really dont want to file for bankruptcy. I've finally been able to rebuild my credit and was actually looking to buy a home within the next year or so. My question is whether I can settle with the creditor now for lesser amount? 30% maybe of the outstanding balance? If so, who do I contact...the bank directly? the collection office? the levying officer? Any and all info would greatly be appreciated. -
