We had to break the lease and move due to one of the tenants above us makign a homemade garbage disposal in her sink and periodically FLOODING out apartment. Now at this time I had my 2 yr old daughter and was 7 months pregnant and each time I had to get down and scrub the floors and clean the carpets even though I repetedly reported this tenant and complained about it.We were told due to not having renters insurance that breaking the lease was completely on us(which I understand breaking a lease is on the tenant) but they never made ANY effort to do anything about the lady above us flooding our apartment on NUMEROUS occassions.Also when we went to court for it the judgement was put against BOTH of us(my fiance and myself) Now a year or two back my fiance(and only him) filed for bankruptcy and this judgement was included in the bankruptcy and written off(taken care of) and now the apartments are sending ME(just me) a notice saying if I do not pay the amount of the judgement they are going to take it back to court and charge me more.
