In her divorce decree, it was ordered that she pay half of the mortgage (both her and exes name are on it), while living elsewhere. That said, the house will not sell, and the ex is being uncooprative. Recently, her mortgage payments have increased to the point that she can no longer pay them while supporting herself. Since it is ordered in the divorce decree that she pay half, what do you suppose would happen to her if she could no longer afford to pay? Would it be best for her to let it be foreclosed, or file for bankruptcy. Thanks! -
