I have heard of people that have done so and when they went to court they found out there were complications. For instance, one of my friends had a family member die and left his family some property. This was 4 years after he claimed bankruptcy. My friend was not even listed in the will. But, the court assigned a panel of three judges to investigate at a fee of $300 per hour. I would like to hear from anyone who has claimed bankruptcy with good or bad experiences.
