Sierpinski's triangle is a simple fractal created by repeatedly removing smaller triangles from the original shape. A really cool example of math tricks - this fractal seems to go on into infinity!

The Sierpinski triangle, also called the Sierpinski gasket or the Sierpinski Sieve, is a fractal named after the Polish mathematician Wacław Sierpiński, who described it in 1915.

Originally constructed as a curve, this is one of the basic examples of self-similar sets - it is a mathematically generated pattern that can be reproducible at any magnification or reduction.
