Shock Troopers is a title originally released on the Neo Geo system back in 1997 and now it is available to play on Steam too.

Utilizing a team of eight highly skilled soldiers (including Jackal, Milky, Loki, Southern Cross, Marie Bee, Rio, Maru and Big Mama) you must take the fight to a terrorist group known as The Bloody Scorpions.

The leader of this group is responsible for the abduction of an old scientist and his granddaughter.

Scientist is working on a drug called Alpha-301, which turns everyday people in to super soldiers!

Your task is to blast through six stages of chaotic carnage and destroy this group and it's leader, rescue the hostages, and in the process avert a world crisis.

This game though older title is very fund and has its charm.
