Shelby Hopple - Almost time

Black clouds move in.
The thunder shakes the night sky.
Lightening strikes and blocks the fear in the eyes.
The rain begins and so do the tears.
All a act which has been played out many times before.
Alone in a field where nothing seems real.

But now I'm not alone there's one who knows the truth,
It's getting closer to the day I truly break down I can feel it with each hug,
Getting harder to keep suppressed the pain that know one has ever seen.
I just hope it's not coming to soon. I don't think I'm ready for it just yet.
