Shelby Hopple - Think before you act.

The day is cold,
Theres nothing else you could lose.
Or so you thought.
Then like that,
Its all black.
And you don't know where to go.
Then out of the blue,
A hand reaches out to you.
Screaming and yelling,
Please don't go.
We need you here.
You reach out,
But it seems so far.
Then you hear a voice say,
Come back I can't lose you now.
I reach again for the hand,
This time you brush the finger tips.
Thinking just a little more.
One more reach,
And the grip is tight.
Knowing they won't let go,
You give it all your might.
And up you go away from the light,
Into the arms of a dearest friend.
Termbleing, and saying,
Don't ever jump again.
You hold on tight,
Saying thank you my friend,
For if not for you I wouldn't be here tonight.


Think before you do something rash.
For you may not see it but theres all ways loved ones.
They come in family, friends, even strangers. So
Think before you act.
