I walk alone at night thinking about...
When everything was good and nothing could go wrong.
When love was us and we were love.
We had butterflies and goose bumps and smiles.

I walk alone at night and think about...
When it all came crashing down.
When I was lonely and I knew it was meant to be that way.
When I was falling and all I wanted was for someone to say they'd catch me when I hit.
Because I knew I'd hit hard.

I walk home to go back to my dark and lonely life...
Alone.
Maybe I should get used to this.
Maybe it'll never change.
