What are we doing
are we really living
is our life real
or is it just a game

a game that
God is playing
to make it to heaven
then we'll be winning

everyday he rolls the dice
everyday we make a move
closer and closer
to the end of the game

some get short cuts
we say thats unfair
some never get to win
now thats fair

some get stuck
some move fast
some are close to winning
but get to go back

this is how
I look at our lives
it makes sense to me
we're all in a game

we don't want to win
this game of wits
we don't wanna
get stuck in the tar pits

we don't want to go back
to start
we love this game
that we play with heart

we bring new players
to help us win
but sometimes they get
the wining card first

to beat this game
is to join the creator
he punishes hard
the big cheaters

people win everyday
but more people join
when will it be our turn
to win this great game?
