Shadigo Claws - * Life is a Waterfall (Prose version) *

Life is a waterfall:
We're one in the river
and one again after the fall.*

We lived in the Otherworld
We're born, we live, we die;
We return to the Otherworld.

The souls who lived nobly
Are reborn into a higher consciousness.
The souls who wasted their lives
Are reborn into inferior forms.

That is the cycle:
Our lives are lived for better or for worse,
And we are repaid in kind.


*These are the first 3 lines of System of a Down's 'Aerials, ' the song that inspired me to write this poem.
