Shadigo Claws - * Sleep Enticeth Me... *

Sleep
hangs heavy on my eyelids,
pulling them down,
opens my mouth,
inflates my lungs
in an enormous yaaaaaawn,
bows my head onto my chest,
whispers into my ear
that it's alright to close my eyes
just for a moment- just a moment-
just a few more moments more...
Uh-Oh, I'm falling asleep! !
head jerks up,
eyes open wide,
defying this almost-person called Sleep
but not for long
because Sleep doesn't battle,
he tempts and entices
and slowly...
but surely...
my eyes close...
my head bows...
my body relaxes...
and...
...ZZZZZZ
