Serial Killer - Dean Corll : The Candy Man

Dean Corll was a serial killer from Houston, TX who, with the help of teenage accomplices Elmer Henley and David Brooks, raped, tortured and murdered at least 27 boys teen-aged and younger. The case only came to light when 17 year old Henley shot and killed Corll. He then told a story that no one believed. Until he led the police to the buried bodies of 27 boys. For 1973 this was unheard of. Before Bundy, before Gacy, even before Juan Corona who also had over 2 dozen bodies discovered the following year, there was Dean Corll, Elmer Henley and David Brooks.
