scary, meet dragons on the beach

We did a dive liveaboard on the Black Manta in the Komodo Strait (Indonesia). While we were there, they took us to a beach where there were several large Komodo dragons lounging about. They told us the dragons wouldn't go into the water, so we stood calf-deep in the water taking photos (see them at http://www.flickr.com/photos/dalangal.... At one point one of them started walking into the water right near me, which was somewhat unnerving.
