SAVING A SHARK 1970

A Great white shark had became tangled in wire rope and was found almost dead by Ron and Valerie Taylor who set it free. The previous night Ron had fallen overboard and believed it was a miracle sharks had not attacked him and three were known to be in the water. In exchange for their mercy, Ron and Valerie began their mission to save this species from extinction. This was the first opportunity - while working on a diving project for noted producer Bruno Vailati in South Australia. Until recently Valerie had never viewed this footage.
