Oh Night, do not lull me into sleep
Over the miles, far away my love waits for me
Sleep is afraid to dropp on his tired eyelids
So alert is his vigil for me
A dropp of tear trickles down his eyes
A dropp of blood drops down mine
Our heart is torn into little parts
Our voice is choked into silence
Our pain is silent
Our love is deep
The moon and the stars
Are our bridge
So Night do not lull me into sleep
Till my love fills his every breathe
