you may think you know,
all about those people,
but what you say,
can be lethal.

no one is perfect,
and we're not all the same,
it's funny for you,
but for them it's not a game.

they don't do it,
just to be cool,
they do it because,
of those kids at school.

students, teachers,
family and friends.
do they cause pain?
well that all depends.

what you say,
can affect someone,
words are painful,
like a knife or a gun.

you may never think,
what you've said is bad,
but one day maybe,
someone gets sad.

so sad,
there's no turning back,
those words you said,
had an impact.

a mother, father,
daughter or son,
has ended their life,
and now they're gone.

all because,
of what you said,
this one person,
is gone and dead.

not just you,
but everyone,
has said something mean,
or just plain dumb.

here's your warning,
listen real close,
watch your words,
before they go.

think before you speak,
when that kid walks by,
you never know,
you could save his life.

compliments are better,
for you to say,
than to ruin,
someone elses day.

so would you rather,
be the cause of strife?
or end up saving,
a dead man's life?

it's your choice,
it's up to you,
just remember,
words are lethal too.
