i wish i had the strength to let you go,
of the highs i felt with you i wouldn't know.
i wish i had the courage to shut you out of my world,
for the affection i got from you i wouldn't have yearned.
i wish i had the power to say the last goodbye,
so for the moments i spent with you i wouldn't have to cry.
i wish i had the hope in me to carry me through a path without you in it,
but unfortunately, when it comes to you, i have none of these qualities to my credit.
