Sandra Osborne - Myself and I
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Deep shining lonely visions;
My friends who have none.
Escaping seems to be
The ultimate joy,
The excitement of loneliness,
The generation’s drug.
For how long?
For how long, and why?
Is there a better theme
For life than mine?
Should mine be the same?
Faith is all that’s needed
For a dream to survive.
No matter how lonely
Or alone
The dream has become.
Prayer and love and hope and life
Intertwining and twisting
Become the bastard idea
Called faith.
Faith in God, faith in man, faith in myself.
Just questions without answers.
Just God and man,
Myself and I.
Both alone,
With faith for all.
