Samode Palace, Rajasthan

The Samode Palace was built about 475 years ago in the Indo – Saracenic or the Indo-Gothic architecture by the Rawal family of Amer and Jaipur. The palace is 40 kms north of Jaipur and is known for its Shish Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) and the Durbar Hall, the former for its mirror tiling and the latter for its centuries old frescoes. This palace could be a perfect honeymoon destination if you can afford it. Flowers accompany you everywhere, from the reception to the stairs, to the bath tubs!
