Sameer Ahmed - The Child Within
0 Views • Nov 08, 2014
Description
Our success and joys
It feels to the core.
Saddened and suppressed
We feel obscure
It shows the way
To a lively shore
With a wavily welcome
And a friendly roar.
Our blunders
And mistakes
Make it mingy
And loneliness we feel
In this state of dingy
Yet, if we repent
It is zealous and zingy.
A father
A mother
A sister
And a brother
It's master of disguise
Can be a teacher
Hard to recognize.
Inside it dwells
With an outward force
Like water from
The artesian wells.
Hesitated and afraid
Of worldly hells.
Age not a criteria
For it remains a child
Till end of the class
And ringing of the bells!
