Sad Story

It was night time. There were screams coming from a room in the house. The father was weak and sick, yet he was lovingly explaining to his son, “Son… don’t do this, I have worked hard for you all my life.”

But the son was blinded by anger. He pushed his father, the father fell to the ground and tears started flowing from his eyes. The father said in a trembling voice, “I am not in pain, the pain is that the son for whom I shed my blood and sweat, today he is beating me…”

The son could not remain silent. Suddenly his hands started shaking, tears filled his eyes. He fell at his father’s feet, crying and saying,
“Father, forgive me…”
