Man, am I glad SA2B finally has model mods now. I have a few character mod ideas I'd like to try for this game. :)
SA2B is one of my most favorite on GC and when it came to PC in 2012, I couldn't have been anymore happier. Then I questioned why there weren't any other mods outside of textures and sound modding, it's because the model format was one of the worst things to figure out for team X-Hax and SonicRetro.
